In the event that the incentives do not apply or are no longer being offered, the standard franchise fee for a Papa John’s location is $25,000. The royalties consist of 5% of the Net Sales of the restaurant for each period and a 1/5% on-line transaction fee for sales made via the internet.

Thus, the startup costs for the Papa John’s location is extremely low whether it is under the incentive based program on the regular franchise purchase option.
